The Dirty Dog Bar

How it works / What to expect:

• You wet your dog’s coat, rub the bar directly onto fur (or into your hands and then massage), create a lather, and rinse thoroughly. 

• After rinsing, coat tends to be clean without being stripped of natural oils — leaving it softer and less likely to be dry or itchy. 

• Because it’s a bar, it can be more compact and easier to store or travel with than bottles of liquid shampoo.

• Because these soaps are often handmade, bars may vary slightly in weight, color, and shape. 

• It’s recommended to keep the bar dry between uses (e.g. on a draining soap dish) so it lasts longer. 

• For dogs (especially with sensitive skin), you may want to test on a small patch first to ensure no reaction — especially if essential oils are included.
